Rare Rubbish was currently featured on A Designer Spot!

A Designer Spot has locations in Chicago & New York. They attended this years annual Randolph Street Holiday Market in Chicago and interviewed rare rubbish. According to A Designer Spot, they describe Randolph Street as the market that garners praise from far & wide and was even mentioned as the place to go and find antiques by arguably Chicago's most famous interior designer, Nate Berkus (Oprah's Interior Designer).

To kick off the holiday season, we celebrated this past weekend on Michigan Avenue where we oohed and awed the “miles of lights”. We then headed to the John Hancock, Signature Room where we relaxed with cocktails and enjoyed the panoramic view of the city. The next day we headed over to the vintage shops & boutiques in Lincoln Park to do some shopping. We will be kicking off a Pre-Christmas Open House at Rare Rubbish on December 5th, (Antique Mall). Come see All our Christmas stuff…All are welcome!

Autumn Sale

Headed out this past Sunday to enjoy the beautiful Fall day - had heard about an “Autumn Barn Sale” and wanted to check it out. So, we headed out to the country. There were about 10 Barns or so that participated in the Sale - Lots of really cool (and unique) finds! What a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon - totally got us into the Fall spirit!!
